Welcome To

Our Vision

Belize has the potential to establish itself as a world leading Dental Implant Tourism Destination.

Mexico is currently the country that attracts the most dental implant tourism for American and Canadian patients in need of more affordable treatment.

Belize has so much more to offer than Mexico such as a safer desitnation to visit, easy direct flights, fixed currency to the US$, English as the official language and friendly inhabitants to mention but a few.
It is our vision to:
 1) provide leading implant planning and CAD design services to the Dental Specialists and General Dentists of Belize to ensure the very best treatment for their patients, whether Belizeans or foreigners,

2) support the Dental Specialists and General Dentists of Belize by making implant fixtures, surgical instruments and restorative components accessible to them via our online store for delivery to their clinic,

3) promote local implantologists to American patients and to encourage these patients to make Belize their preferred Dental Implant Tourism destination,

4) continuously improve the quality of dental implant treatment by staying on top of new digital technologies in implantology and sharing such information with Belizean Implantologists,

5) help grow the economy of Belize for the betterment of all those who call Belize their home.

All planning is performed and all surgical guides and restorations are manufactured in Belize

Guided Surgery...

…the foundation of what we do.

Advantages of guided surgery

Guided surgery uses 3D imaging and computer-assisted design to pre-plan the implant placement, which offers significant benefits over traditional methods.

  • Enhanced precision and accuracy: Computer software allows for meticulous planning of the implant’s position, angle, and depth, which reduces the margin for human error.
  •    Reduced risk of complications: The detailed virtual planning helps avoid critical anatomical structures like nerves and sinuses, making the procedure safer for patients.
  • Minimally invasive: In many cases, a less invasive “flapless” procedure can be used, which reduces trauma to the tissues, post-operative pain, and swelling. “Flapless” procedures further improves vascularity to the bone, crucial for initial integration.  This also leads to a faster recovery.
  • More predictable outcomes: The ability to virtually plan the surgery ensures a more predictable final result, both functionally and aesthetically.
  • Improved efficiency: The pre-planning shortens the time patients spend in the surgical chair, as the surgeon can execute the procedure more quickly.
  • Higher success rate: Guided dental implants generally have a better success rate than freehand placement due to increased accuracy. Guided surgery leads to more precise implant positioning, with some studies showing significantly lower failure rates compared to freehand techniques. This increased precision can result in a smoother recovery with less post-operative pain and swelling.

Factors influencing adoption

Despite the clear clinical advantages, several factors affect the widespread adoption of guided surgery.

  • Equipment and training costs: The advanced technology required, including Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) scanners, planning software, and 3D printers for surgical guides, represents a significant investment for dental practices.
  • Clinical experience: Guided surgery has a learning curve for the dental team, which can influence how readily practitioners adopt the new workflow.

Future outlook

Digital dentistry is driving a major shift in implantology, and guided surgery is expected to become the dominant method in the near future. The increasing integration of artificial intelligence and robotics is expected to further enhance surgical precision. As the cost of technology decreases and training becomes more accessible, guided surgery will likely become the standard of care for more dental implant procedures.
